The trade fair denkmal Russia - Moscow is accompanied by seminars and congresses with Russian and foreign experts. Germany, Russia and Italy days draw the attention of the visitors to the activities and experiences in the protection of monuments in certain countries and to products and services of exhibitors from these regions.

The substantial center of the exhibition is the utilization of historic buildings, parks and former industry areas. Furthermore, the exhibition is about questions of training and development of restorers, new techniques and materials and subjects such as architecture, city planning and water.

Exhibitor presentations complement the program.

Exhibitors and professional visitors can also participate in special field trips to selected sights and monuments.

The events have the following agenda:

• Exchange of Russian and international experiences concerning the preservation of architectural heritage under modern conditions of city development and under the application of innovative technologies
• Elaboration of recommendations for the improvement of the preservation of Russia’s cultural heritage, for possible directions of development of the Russian restoration industry and for the optimization of technical, scientific and legal guidelines
• Exchange of experience between Russian and international restorers concerning the development of modern conversion concepts of cultural heritage objects, which consider the historic-cultural significance of buildings and respect their structural characteristics
